Arbor Day Foundation to Honor Former AFF CEO & President
Since 1972, the Arbor Foundation has acknowledged friends of trees every year in order to highlight the important need to sustain and improve the quality of the nation’s urban and wild forests.
Wiseman, will be honored with the Legacy Award for his lifetime work on conservation issues during his time as president of AFF. At AFF, Wiseman set the bar for excellence in forest conservation, wildlife and watershed protection, as well as environmental education. Thanks to Wiseman, AFF’s Project Learning Tree is a widely used environmental education resource across the country and the American Tree Farm System is the largest internationally recognized certification system for small woodland owners.
