  1. Prize recipients must complete the Learn Outside GreenWorks! grant application and sign the memorandum of understanding with the American Forest Foundation before receiving their cash grant. See sample grant application. Please note that only individuals selected to receive a Learn Outside GreenWorks! Grant will need to complete this application.

  2. Learn Outside GreenWorks! Grants Contest begins December 3, 2008, and ends December 30, 2008. No contribution is necessary to enter or win a prize. A contribution does not increase your chances of winning. To enter, follow the instructions above. Be sure to complete all the information requested. All entries must be submitted by December 30, 2008, at 11:59 p.m. to be eligible.

  3. All completed entries will be entered into a Random Drawing to be held on or about January 6, 2009. Odds of winning a prize depend upon the number of entries received.  Drawing will be held under the supervision of an independent accounting firm whose decisions are final and binding. Winners will be notified by mail and will be required to provide proper verification of eligibility with 501(c)(3) status.

  4. Prizes: Four cash grants of $500 equaling a total value of $2,000.    

  5. This drawing is being made available to educators trained in PLT, 18 years of age or older. Drawing void where prohibited. All Federal, State, and Local laws apply. 

  6. Winners agree that the sponsor, their agencies, and their employees shall not be liable for injury, loss, or damage of any kind resulting from participation in this promotion or from the acceptance or use of the prize awarded.

  7. For a list of prizewinners available after January 15, 2009, send a self-addressed stamped envelope no later than February 15, 2009, to Winners List, American Forest Foundation, 1111 Nineteenth Street NW, Suite 780, Washington, DC 20036.
