Celebrate and Help Protect America’s Forests

November 28, 2011 at 12:30 pm by Hillary Bennett

All year long, the world has been celebrating the 2011 International Year of Forests by way of events, educational exhibitions, photography contests and more.  As 2012 draws closer, I am looking forward to celebrating the end of another successful year.

The holidays are a time when I can help out those who are less fortunate and support my community, in order to celebrate one another.

When you are making your year-end donations this year, please consider a gift to the American Forest Foundation. With your gift, the American Forest Foundation will be able to provide forest landowners throughout the United States with the tools and knowledge they need to manage their land sustainably so we can all enjoy healthy, growing forests for years to come.

Your contribution will also ensure that America’s children learn how to become responsible stewards of our natural world by bringing high-quality, environmental education curriculum to our schools.

Through these programs, the American Forest Foundation works on-the-ground in your community every day of the year to promote stewardship and protect our nation’s forest heritage for future generations.

There is no better time than now to celebrate forests by showing your support for the American Forest Foundation. Visit www.forestfoundation.org/donate to make your contribution easily and securely online.

Don’t forget to join the conversation on Facebook! Beginning today and continuing throughout the month of December, we will host a special online campaign in celebration of the holidays. Visit www.facebook.com/AmericanForestFoundation today!

You can help preserve America’s legacy. For as little as $5, you can help protect America’s forests. Please consider a gift to the American Forest Foundation today: the future of our forests depends on it.
