February 28, 2013 at 3:00 pm by Mike Burns

AFF forester and program resource manager Mike BurnsAre you a forester, looking for an easy way to promote yourself online?

My Land Plan’s new forester profiles provide you with an easy way to create an online presence.

You don’t have to build and maintain an elaborate website. Let AFF handle the coding and the server costs. My Land Plan’s forester profiles tell landowners about the work you do in a professional and easy-to-update format.

Use your profile to:

  • List your services
  • Provide an online resume with biographical and contact info
  • Share success stories
  • Allow landowners to contact you directly through My Land Plan.

Use your My Land Plan forester profile as you would a personal website! Add it to your email signatures, put the URL on your business cards and promotional brochures, allow potential clients find your information when they search in Google.

My Land Plan is the American Forest Foundation's website for woodland owners, by woodland owners--2,000 woodland owners and more than 200 foresters have already signed up!

To update your profile, create a Forester Directory account. If you’ve forgotten your log in information, recover it securely at mylandplan.org/user/password.

Select the “Forester Profile” from the navigation bar. Click the “edit” link to make any changes or improvements to  your profile. When you are finished, your profile is located at mylandplan.org/forester/firstname-lastname!

Any questions? We are happy to help. Just email me at info@mylandplan.org

Share the directory with your forester friends! send them to http://mylandplan.org/forester-signup to create their own account today.
