As EVP of External Relations, Will Martin leads all daily operations and organizational strategy implementation for the American Forest Foundation. Will's focus is to create the best conditions for our teams to develop innovative solutions that engage family forest owners in addressing conservation challenges like climate change, biodiversity loss and assurance for sustainable forest product supply chains.
Will brings a unique background to his position—combining experience from forest management, environmental planning, community engagement and leadership of a tech startup. In addition to co-founding WoodsCamp, he has also served as a founding director of the Medway Community Forest Co-Op, president of the Nova Scotia Woodlot Owners and Operators Association, manager of a specialty wood products mill and a lead auditor for FSC certification.
Will and his wife Zsofi, along with their twin girls, love spending as much time as possible outside. With two dogs and two cats, the whole crew loves to escape into the forest that surrounds their small town.
