As EVP of Business Innovation, Will Martin leads AFF's strategy to catalyze pathways to a billion tonnes of climate mitigation from U.S. family forests. Will oversees a cross-functional team collaborating with both internal teams and partner networks to develop the opportunities and the scalable systems that enable the scale of impact at the heart of AFF’s mission.
Will brings a unique background—combining experience from forest management, environmental planning, community engagement and leadership of a tech startup. In addition to co-founding WoodsCamp, he has also served as a founding director of the Medway Community Forest Co-Op, president of the Nova Scotia Woodlot Owners and Operators Association, manager of a specialty wood products mill, and a lead auditor for FSC certification.
Will and his teenage daughters love cooking and spending as much time as possible outside. With two dogs and two cats, the whole crew loves to escape into the forest that surrounds their small town.
